Restoran Aisyanur Ikan Bakar (Kuala Sg Baru, Melaka)

This seafood restaurant is located in Kuala Sungai Baru, Melaka..
It is a foating restaurant, floating above the sea but not too far off the beach anyway.. :P

It is a nice place to dine in the night, as the wind of the sea blows in the cold night, making me hungry and eager to eat.. -.-"
This restaurant is located on the left side of the whole row of the restaurants and to be sure, check that if its No. 1 restaurant, then you are there.. :P
My sister, as usual, ordered the seafood and some of the dish that she ordered, even i haven't tasted it yet before..

Boiled clam and another type of clam that i dont know the species.. :P :

Salted fish with kailan:

Spicy fried cuttlefish :

Bass cooked with 3 flavors (Ikan 3 rasa :P) :

Chilli fried crabs:

For the drinks, we took 2 jugs of fresh orange juice... :D

All i can say is i have tasted better..
Not that the taste is bad, its just okay to me.
But i really love the location, very calm and peaceful..

But the one thing i dont like is that it is so slow in service.
We got our food 45 minutes after ordering, even the fact that the day we ate there, there were not so many customers around.. -.-

Yeah, its a good place to eat seafood in Melaka and i am glad to find food that night coz i was so damn hungry..

And btw, you need to reserve your seat as during the night, a lot of people would eat here and you wouldn't want to just stand by and observe other people eating right? :P

Restoran Ramzania Nasi Kandar (Ipoh,Perak)

This mamak restaurant is located in front of the Carsem factory in Gerbang Meru Indah, Ipoh, Perak..
Nearby my house, thats what make it so special.. :P
My nephew loves this place.. especially their 'roti telur'. Even i like it..
The 'roti telur' is so full of eggs and really nice, not to mention non-oily, which is good compared to the other greasy 'roti canai' restaurants in Meru, Ipoh..
This is him with his fav roti telur (egg paratha)

My favourite food in this restaurant is the vadai and the tosei...
The vadai is so deliciously soft and crunchy at the same time.
Even if you left it for the next 5 hours, the vadai would still be soft and crunchy..
dont believe me? try it yourself :P

And the tosei, I LOVE THE CETNI...
The tosei itself is perfectly crunchy and tasty, combined with the well cooked cetni makes me go wild when i eat at this place..
Sometimes i can finish 2 toseis in one hour.. XP
My mom, in the other hand, loves the Ramzania's fish curry and always eat the tosei with it..Other than tosei, roti canai and vadai, they also sell 'roti arab', chapati, nasi lemak, fried maggi mee, fried mee mamak style, and lots of other food..

They also sell nasi kandar and nasi briyani.. And the dishes is delicious! I am not lying!
I have tasted it before and i regret it not buying more.. :P
They have the best chicken rendang as well as the kurma..

In the morning, the restaurant basically sell the usual breakfast food, like roti canai, tosei, chapati and nasi lemak..

In the afternoon, they bring out the rice (kandar and briyani) together with the great side dishes

In the evening, they will start the western food, lai chee kang and even siamese cooking...

Its a food heaven i tell you! XP

The waiters and the boss are friendly too, creating a comfortable place for costumers to dine in.

The restaurants is open 24/7, so you can come anytime you want..

Pakeeza Restaurant & Catering (Ipoh,Perak)

I went to this restaurant on the 21st of December 2011...
My sister invited my parents and me to eat here.. Never been here before actually

This restaurant is owned by Pakistanis and the menus are Pakistan-based.. :D

They have:
  • Tandoori chicken
  • Chapati
  • Naan
  • Briyani Rice
  • Kebab
  • and lots of other Pakistani food

Unfortunately they didn't have Arabic Rice (my dad's fav), making him not very fond to the place.

Yeah, they are Pakistanis but they didn't learn how to cook Arabic Rice i guess.. So we just have to settle with their menus.

I ordered a Briyani Rice with Mutton kurma and it turns out quite nice. Even my dad says so too.. The kurma is well done but the rice is lacking of the typical briyani flavors like cashew nuts, raisins and it is quite dry too.. But all i can say is, i am satisfied with the volume of dish on my plate and the food is satisfying indeed.

Then we ordered Tandoori chicken. Very delicious indeed.

The chicken is cooked through out, and the flesh is very tender, even if it is from the breast part of the chicken. Even the flavour is charming..

The drinks, my mom is crazy about the teh tarik. Lickerish.. :P

And btw, the service is very fast at a busy hour. The waiters are fast, clean and charming too.. :P They can be very patient at serving their customers and even the boss lady is friendly with my mom..

The restaurant's moto is: A Taste Above The Rest

The restaurant can organise :

  • Indoor function
  • Catering service
  • Company family day
  • Private function
  • Wedding
  • Take away delivery

The address of the restaurant is:

15-17, JALAN DATO SERI AHMAD SAID, (GREEN LANE),

Sameer Restaurant Al-Arabi (Ipoh,Perak)

Went to this restaurant today (Thursday 22nd of December 2011)
Coz of my father, he wasn't satisfied with the Briyani rice we had yesterday night at Pakeeza so we went here, the only (i think) Arabic Rice restaurant that is situated in Ipoh, Perak.

Sameer which is situated right beside Tesco Stesyen 18, has a roasted lamb for it's restaurant banner.. TEMPTING.. :P

The menu is full of varieties, and you can even choose whether you want a plain white rice or a briyani rice, but all of them are originally the long-type of rice.. :DWhile we were waiting for our order to arrive, the waiter served us with a bowl of hot chicken soup each. Its free. I guess it is just like KFC which serves us a cup of beverages if our order ain't ready yet.. Nice!! :D
My parents and i ordered one set of Briyani with chicken and another set of Briyani with mutton.
The taste is nice, but it is not the best Arabic rice that i have tasted yet. :P

The rice is okay.. but the side dishes are quite weird as they serve a small dish of coleslaw and cetni.. haha.. :P but i finished it all (that means nice! :D)
But the amount of protein (mutton and chicken) is in a small portion, compared to the other Arabic restaurant i went to before.
And the mutton and the chicken is quite dry.
Its not oily enough, but too much oil is not good right? :P
Then my father ordered a third dish, which is chapati and dhal.
We got 2 pieces of chapati and the dhal is very delicious.. It has the Arabic taste and the beans in the dhal is not mashed, giving it a satisfying, full taste of dhal..

The dhal is shown above.. :D

The workers of the restaurant are nice and fast working. They are also clean and friendly.
They are from other country and when you speak to them, speak in English.
They barely understands Malay.

The drink, as usual, my mom is crazy about the teh tarik, and this time, i gotta agree with her..
It is very thick, like how Malaysians say it: 'Kaw' :P
But i gotta say, the price is quite expensive compared to even Arabic restaurant is Cyberjaya..
A medium sized briyani costs RM15, while in Cyberjaya, its only RM10.. logical?
You decide..

The restaurant offers Mandy Briyani Rice, Kabsa Lamb, Kabsa Chicken with Rice, A Special Whole Lamb and other Arabic food.. And their specialty is Shisha..

They even have packages which can fit for 8 pax, depending on what dish you want to eat as in a group. There are packages of RM250, RM300, RM350, and even RM400 with choices of delicious delicacies.. :D

Recommended for Arabic food fans and even families who would love to eat something different from the typical Siamese tomyam and stuff.. Try something different people!! :P
